Donna Jean (Hurd) Myers passed away on May 17, 2018 at the age of 62. She was born July 7, 1955 to Donald and Joyce (Blocker) Hurd in Glenwood, MN. She attended grade school and high school in Glenwood.

Donna was united in marriage to Murel Leroy Myers on July 17, 1976 in Winner, SD. They had two children JoAnn and Glenn. She worked a variety of places throughout her life.

Donna loved her family and her numerous adopted family as we all loved her. Donna would always greet you with a smile and a listening ear. She enjoyed hearing about the goings-on with everyone.

Donna leaves to mourn: her loving children JoAnn (Tim) Hansen and Glenn “Buck” (fiancée Kaila Vennes) Myers; her two beautiful grandchildren Emily Hansen and TJ Hansen; her siblings Lynn (Craig) Chapman, Donald (Carolyn) Hurd, Joan (Bob) Holtberg, Patricia (Allen) Braaten, Michael Hurd, Thomas (Donna) Hurd, Richard Hurd and Carol (Sam) Aviles; step-sisters and step-brother Kathy (David) Burkhart, Lorri Beecher and Todd (Carla) Beecher and their families; sister-in-law Virginia Vilhauer; along with many nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband Murel; her parents Don and Joyce Hurd; stepmother Luella (Beecher) Hurd; nephews Thomas Hurd Jr., Stephen Chapman, Shad Chapman and Brad Holtberg; step-brother Lee Beecher; and brother-in-law Marvin Vilhauer. The memorial service will be Monday, May 21 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Richville United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be in the Richville Village Cemetery. Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service, Perham, MN (218) 346-5175 www.
