Donna’s Obituary Donna Jean Jaeger, 91 of Mapleton, passed away March 24, 2019 at Mapleton Community Home in Mapleton. Memorial service will be held 11a.m., Friday, March 29, 2019 at St. John Lutheran Church in Mapleton. Visitation will be from 5-7p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2019 at St. John Lutheran Church and one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Mapleton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church for the installation of an Automated External Defibrillator or donor’s choice. Olson-Tichenor Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Donna was born September 3, 1927 to Richard and Sophie (Grunkle) Kieselbach in her country home near Claremont, Minnesota. She was baptized October 2, 1927 at St. John Lutheran Church in Claremont. She was confirmed April 6, 1941.

She graduated from Claremont High School and attended Mankato Commercial College. She worked for Hubbard Milling for several years. On August 19, 1950 Donna married Marvin Jaeger at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Together they raised two children, Peggy and Brian. Donna was a member of the Heather Curling Club, Riverside Country Club, and the ELCA. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, spending winters with Marvin in Texas, and golfing.

Donna is survived by her husband, Marvin; children, Peggy (Doug Snidow) Jaeger of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Brian (Debbie) Jaeger of Mapleton; granddaughters, Lisa (Brian) Doering and Tracy (Josh) Werner; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Austin, Abby, Jazzy, and Hadley; sister-in-law, Ramonna Steele; and Harlan (Mary) Jaeger. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joann; and brother, Robert.
