On Friday, October 26th, 2018 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Donna Bradley-Hill departed this life. Donna was born on May 21st, 1965 to Mary Charlene Bradley and the late Leo Robert Bradley. Donna was united in love to Gwendolyn Michelle Hill on November 26th, 2016.

Gwen and Donna shared a love that transcends, and that love was ever-present throughout Donna’s transition. Donna graduated from Washington High School in 1983. She was able to help many people in the community through various organizations and affiliations, but she was most proud of her appointment as a Deputy with the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Department.

Donna was a free-spirit, who lived unapologetically; doing things on your own terms and for your own fulfillment is something Donna lived by. She was a helper of people and an unfailing of love and light. She was a second-mother to many, a confidant to some, and a joy to all who knew her.

Donna was creatively intuitive, and powerful beyond understanding. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Myron Douglas James of Kansas City, KS, Sheila Irene Young of Olathe, KS, Jamie Charlene James of Olathe, KS, Betty Jack Criss of Kansas City, KS, Kevin Eugene Criss Jr. of Kansas City, KS, Ivy Lavida Brewer of Overland Park, KS, and Kyle Cortez Lockett of Lee’s Summit, MO; mother Mary Charlene Bradley of Kansas City, KS; brothers, Leifus Dwayne Bradley of Kansas City, KS, Darren Lamar Bradley of Kansas City, KS, Carleton Robert Bradley of Kansas City, KS, David Allen Bradley of Houston, TX, and sister Kenya Dorsey of Kansas City, MO; aunts Irene Janette Byers of Kansas City, KS, Winifred Clark of Kansas City, KS, Norma Baskin of Kansas City, KS; grandchildren Cayden Crisstopher Bello, Kingston Todd Young, Ja’kora Sanaa Brewer, Mckenzie Devin James, Makiyah Danae Farley, Kaleb Dorrell Farley, Kyrie Celeste Lockett and life-long friend, Gale Denise Wash of Kansas City, KS and a host of other family, friends and loved ones. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 (noon) on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Watkins Heritage Chapel.
