Donna Mae Cottrell, 88, of Elizabethtown passed away at 9:28 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus. Born April 5, 1930 in Madison County, Donna was the daughter of Dale T. and Edna Louise (Boner) Cottrell. Donna was a 1948 graduate of Madison High School and a 1951 graduate of Fort Wayne Bible College.

She worked as a missionary in New Jersey for 10 years and Ethiopia for 15 years and worked in the SIM USA Office in North Carolina. Donna was a member of Wilson Chapel Church in Elizabethtown and Sudan Interior Mission. She enjoyed flowers and loved cats.

Survivors include her sister, Vera (Paul) Wilson of Elizabethtown; four nieces; four great-nephews; four great-nieces; two great-great-nephews and one great-great-niece. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service for Donna will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the Wilson Chapel Church in Elizabethtown.

Family and Friends may call at the Wilson Chapel Church on Friday, February 15, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service was entrusted with the care of these arrangements.

Memorials may be made in honor of Donna to Wilson Chapel Church through the Funeral Home.
