Mr. Donnie “Carol” Jackson, 85, of Smithfield, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the SECU Hospice House, Smithfield. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery, Newton Grove. The family will receive friends at West & Dunn Funeral Home on Friday, March 15th from 1:30 till 2:30 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the home of Greg & Paula Best, 726 Alex Benton Road, Newton Grove.

Officiating will be Rev. Debra Steely. Carol is survived by his wife; Jean Jackson, sisters; Audrey Jackson Thornton and Sallie Jackson Whitfield, brother; Larry Dail Jackson and wife Brenda.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Clement H. & Dorcas K. Jackson, son; Phillip D’Carol Jackson and sister; Doris Jackson Holloman. Online condolences may be made at www. westanddunn.com Services have been entrusted to West & Dunn Funeral Homes, Newton Grove, North Carolina.
