Obituary for Donovan “Don” Story Donovan “Don” Doss Story, 83, of Rock Hill, passed away suddenly Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born December 2, 1934 in Macon, Missouri, son of the late Alonzo Christopher and Oma Doss Story. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Desmyn Williams.

Don was an avid hunter and fisherman and worked as a coal miner up until his retirement. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 63 years, Fay E. Story; sons, James Story of Gastonia, NC and Brian Story of CO; daughters, Rachelle Walker (Tom) of Lake Wylie and Rena Williams of Rock Hill; four grandchildren, Breauna, Josh (Heather), Rhiannon and Sascha; and six great-grandchildren. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced when finalized.
