Dora A. Huth July 25, 1931 – December 27, 2018 Dora A. Huth, 87 Dora A. Huth, 87, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, December 27, 2018, at home. She was born July 25, 1931, in Spring Church, Armstrong County, a daughter of the latte Edna Mae (Bortz) and Arthur Dickey. On October 4, 1952, she married Paul D. Huth, who preceded her in death on May 31, 1992.

She attended Ss. Cosmas and Damian Church and enjoyed flower gardening, baking, jelly making, her dogs, bird watching, and spending time with her family. Dora was a graduate of the Washington Township High School and a member of the NRA and a past ladies auxiliary member of the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Company.

She was a secretary for her husband’s excavating business but was mostly a homemaker who enjoyed helping and taking care of people and her family. She is survived by a son Michael Huth of Punxsutawney; a sister Helen Hepler and husband John of Ridgway; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney. A funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Ss. Cosmas and Damian Church officiated by Monsignor Joseph Riccardo.

Interment will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Punxsutawney. Memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Mrs. Huth, to Ss. Cosmas and Damian Church, 616 West Mahoning Street, Punxsutawney, PA, or to VNA Family Hospice, 850 Hospital Road, #3000, Indiana, PA 15701.
