Dora Ree Noad, 86, of Torrington, CT passed away Tuesday, November 13th, at Hartford Hospital. She was the wife of Vernon S. Noad Jr. Dora was born in Cullman, AL on May 15, 1932, a daughter of the late Lola Mae (Davis) and Robert Bolzle. She was retired from the JC Penney Store in Torrington.

An active member of Center Congregational Church, she was also a member of The Junior Women’s Club of Torrington. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Vernon S. Noad III of Lakeland Fl, and R. Vincent Noad and wife Cindy of Goshen, grandchildren Kenneth and Astrid Noad, Andrew and Adam Noad, Matthew and Heather Clark, Victoria and Simon Ward, and Nathan Noad and six great grandchildren. She also leaves a brother Robert Bolzle and sister Connie Posey of Birmingham AL, and sister Sue C. Howe of Torrington, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday Nov. 19 at 11:00 AM at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
