Doris Anne Becker, 83 of Cabot passed away on July 26, 2018 while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia in Cabot. Born July 6, 1935 on the family farm in Winfield Township, she was the daughter of Chester and Sarah Reardon Freehling. Doris was a 1953 graduate of Winfield High School.

In 1955, she began a 40 year career at Nationwide Insurance in Butler, retiring in 1995. On May 12, 2001, she married Robert Becker. As a young woman, she was an avid golfer and snow skier.

She also liked reading and traveling, particularly enjoying time spent at Myrtle Beach, SC. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, three brothers, Bernard Freehling, Chester K. Freehling and Robert Alan Freehling, one nephew Roger Freehling and one great-great niece. Surviving are 3 nephews, Eric (Mary Ann) Freehling of Valencia, Bryan (Mary Ann) Freehling of Cabot, and Gary Freehling of Cabot, her niece, Debra (James) Bartley of Saxonburg, three great-nieces, one great-nephew, two great-great nieces and five great-great nephews.

Private visitation and service by the Rev. Doug Dorsey were held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc. in Saxonburg. Interment was in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
