Mrs. Doris Anne Day, 81, of Seymour, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Schneck Medical Center. She was born in Aiken, South Carolina to the late Clarence Ferrell and Addie Lee (Kendrick) Ferrell Jones. Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday at 10:30 am with Pastor Robin Everhart officiating.

Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 3-6 pm and Thursday from 9:30 am until time of service. On August 7, 1957, she married Chester A. Day; he preceded her in death on July 18, 1996.

She is survived by her children, James Day and Anna (Scott) Snyder. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant sons, Joseph Allen Day and Clarence Day; brothers, Thomas “Tommy” Ferrell and Noah “Dan” Ferrell; and sister, Ruby Wright. Memorials may be written to Alzheimer’s Research or Central Christian Church, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
