Mr. Jack E. Norris, 85, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Seymour Crossing. He was born in Washington County to the late Herman and Elizabeth (Loyd) Norris. Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday, March 25 at 10:30 am with Rev.

Scott Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Sunday from 1-5 pm and Monday from 9:30 am until time of service.

Jack was a member of the Church of Christ in Seymour. He was retired from Cummins Engine Co. A veteran of the US Army, he was a member of the VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post # 89, and the Eagles Aerie # 655. He was an avid NASCAR, IU basketball and Indianapolis Colts fan.

He is survived by his daughters, Denise Patrick and Debra (Mike) Sturgeon; grandson, Nathan (Hannah) Sturgeon; granddaughter, Kara Hunt; great-grandsons, Ean and Evan Hunt; sister Marilyn Sauder; and brothers, Jim Norris and Max Norris. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Matthew Patrick; former spouse, Willa Mae Norris; brother-in-law, David Sauder; and nephew, Joseph Norris. Memorials may be written to Reddington Christian Church and St Jude’s Children Hospital, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
