Mrs. Carol M. Parker, 88, of Grand Forks, ND, formerly of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. She was born in Caribou, Maine to the late Maurice E. and Minnie A. Sharpe Hale. Funeral services will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 28 at 11 am with Rev.

Mike Seaney officiating. A graveside service will follow at Madison Veterans Cemetery (1415 North Gate Rd. , Madison, IN 47250) at 1:30 pm.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday from 9 am until time of service. On February 1, 1952 in Caribou, Maine, she married John W. Parker. Mrs. Parker was a bus monitor in Italy for three years, a volunteer for Seymour Hospital from 1984-2004, President of Trinity United Methodist Women and Secretary of the Columbus District United Methodist Women.

She was a former member of the Candlelight Extension Club. Carol is survived by her children, Kevin Parker, Bonita “Bonnie” (Bert) Kelley and Joel (Tammy) Parker; 9 grandchildren, John (Amy) Kelley, Andrea (Guy) Alldredge, Roderick (Jennifer) Kelley, Jamie Parker, Janine (Erwin) Furth, Anna (Hector) Rodriguez, Colin (Amanda) Kelley, Joshua (Courtney) Parker and Kevin Alan Parker; 20 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Cara Nicole Parker; brothers, Lendall A. Hale and Thomas R. Hale; and sister, Averill A. Belyea.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be written to Trinity United Methodist Church, American Diabetes Association or charity of choice, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service. Online condolences may be given on the funeral home website at www. vossfuneralservice.com.
