Mr. Timothy A. Rucker, 64, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019. He was born in Seymour to the late Arthur M. and Mary Jane (McCrary) Rucker. Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday, May 20 at 2 pm with Rev.

Jerry Roberts officiating. A flag and taps presentation will follow the service to honor Timothy’s years of service and dedication to our country. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 12 noon until time of service.

He was a member of White’s Chapel Church. On August 3, 1973, he married Janie Voss; she survives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired maintenance mechanic.

He enjoyed operating remote control airplanes, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Timothy is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janie Rucker; children, Amanda Corwin and Stacey Claycamp; grandchildren, McKenzie Corwin, Marshall Claycamp, Max Claycamp, Merissa Claycamp and Miller Claycamp; great-grandchild, Mason Briones; brother, Dennis (Barbara) Rucker; and brother-in-law, Gary (Anita) Voss. He was preceded in death by his parents.
