Clyde B. Evans, 86, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019. He was born in Kyles Ford, TN, in 1932, the son of William and Maggie Evans. He married Marlin Ann Riner on January 14, 1955, in Clearspring, IN.

Clyde had previously worked at Kieffer Paper Mill. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years, where he served as a Staff Sergeant with the Security Police. He loved being outside and spending time in his garden.

Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children; Michael C. (Judy) Evans, David C. (Denise) Evans, Jerry D. (Gina) Evans, Amber J. (Brian) Ingalsbe; brother, Darrel (Carmen) Evans; sisters, Virginia (Richard) Branaman, Carrie Sue Harger; 19 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents; son Tommy J. Evans; grandson Christian Evans; sisters Thelma Akemon, Jane Blackmon, Georgia Stidham, Mae Seal.

Funeral service will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, May 31 at 11:00 AM with Jeff Seal and Clint Seal officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour. Friends and family may gather at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, May 30, from 4 to 8 PM and Friday after 10:00 AM until time of service.
