Doris Faye Williams Sides, age 63, of Rome passed away Sunday January 20, 2019, in a local hospital. Doris was born August 23, 1955, in Cedartown, Ga. a daughter of the late Denton Williams, and Martha Farmer Williams.

She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Doris was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and fishing. She was preceded in death by brothers, J.T. Williams, John David Williams, sisters, Dorothy Cowan, Carolyn Jones.

Survivors include her husband, James Sides, sons, James Sides, II, Rome; daughter, Tonya (Joe) Fowler, Rome; brother, Paul Williams, grandchildren, Abilene Rhoades, Brett Fowler, James Sides, III, Barret Minter, great grandchildren, Issac Rhoades, Emberlynn Fowler, several nieces and nephews also survive. Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday January 23, 2019 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Greg Hunter, officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until the service hour on Wednesday, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, GA. 30165.
