Sondra C. Williams, age 81, of Rome passed away Friday evening, January 19, 2019 in a local hospital. Mrs. Williams was born August 29, 1937 in Floyd County and was the daughter of the late Helen Studdard Copeland and J. B. Copeland, Sr. Prior to retirement, she was employed as an accounting clerk with the Rome Probation Office. She was a member of Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a son, Jim Williams.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law Donna and John Sizemore; son Joe Williams; grandsons Stephen and Will and great granddaughter Gabby. Her brother John B. “Buddy” Copeland also survives. Graveside funeral and interment services will be conducted at 2 PM Monday, January 21, 2019 at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
