Obituary for Dorothea E Boveine Dorothea Eileen Boveine died peacefully at home with her children by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude, brothers Robert, Eugene, Theodore, and her sister, Mary. Born in Dennison, Ohio to Robert and Susan Conaway, Dorothea and her family moved to Columbus, Ohio where she met and married Claude.

They were married for 46 years. Dorothea cherished her family, and enjoyed sewing costumes for her children and baking goodies for family and friends. Her homemade fudge and cheesecake were legendary.

She is survived by her children Claudette (John) Stick; son Claude (Lisa) Boveine; grandchildren Meghan and Katy Stick, Taylor Boveine and Vanessa (Dan) O’Brien who all brought her great joy. Dorothea is also survived by her sister Geraldine, sister-in-law Charlotte as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. The family is being served by RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME, 2383 N. High St. Calling hours are Thursday, November 15 at 2:00 PM-4:00 PM & 6:00 PM -8:00 PM.
