Obituary for Dorothy Braddock Dorothy Braddock, 97, of Anderson, passed away, September 1, 2018 at Community Hospital, Anderson . She was born, May 3, 1921 in Marion, Indiana and resided most of her life in Muncie, IN. Dorothy graduated from Marion High School, class of 1939.

She retired from Collegienne Shops in Muncie after 30 years of service. She was a member of College Ave. Methodist Church in Muncie.

After moving to Anderson she became a member of the First Baptist Church in Anderson. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Ann (Joe) Marshall, step-daughter, Mary Ann (Mike) Burchette, step-son, Steve Braddock, grandchildren, Misty (Randy) Talley, Mindy Whisman, Molly (Dennis) Poole, Monica Toole, Lori (Jon) Hilden and Chad (Brandi) Marshall. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 1/2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also survived by several nieces and nephews and her dog Sarah. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Bogue, father, Edwin Bogue, first husband, Harry Curtner, 2nd husband, Don Thornton, third husband, Philip Braddock, sister, Anna Virgina Bogue, and her brother, Bill Bogue. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:30am on Thursday, September, 6, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Anderson, IN.

Services will be held at 11:30am Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Art Jaggard officiating. Burial will take place in the Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, IN.
