Wagener – Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Cooper Johnson, 82, entered into rest Tuesday, December 18th, 2018 Mrs. Dorothy is the mother of Stevie (Tracey) Johnson and grandmother of Dallas Johnson. Mrs. Dot was the wife of Cecil “Pete” Johnson for 61 years until his passing just this past September. She is the sister of Charlie (Sarah) Cooper, Hazel (David) Poole, Geneva (David) Lewis, and the late Jack Rayford Cooper, Effie Lorraine Cooper, Cecil Cooper, and Donald Cooper.

Mrs. Dot was born in Aiken County to the late Jack and Nellie Cooper. Mrs. Dot was a member of Perry First Assembly of God. She worked at Wagener Manufacturing for many years, then operated a Beauty Salon for several years.

Mrs. Dot then found the joy of raising many children in her home until she retired. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, December 20th in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A Service Celebrating the life of Mrs. Dot will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 21st at Perry First Assembly of God.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family expresses their gratitude to Mrs. Helen Leach for the love and care she provide Mrs. Dot these past few months.
