Obituary for Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Winkles Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Winkles, age 93, of Palmetto, GA passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Winkles. Mrs. Dot was loved by many people.
People loved to come by and see her flowers in her yard. Mrs. Dot worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 40 years and Christian City on the weekends for 22 years. She is survived by her sister, Ruth (Franklin) Smith; Nieces, Judy Chastain, Melinda Sue (Joe) Stellmack, Sheila (Jonathan) Quay; Nephews, Danny (Pam) Smith, Byron (Tina) Smith, Mark (Pam) Astin, Ryan (Joanne) Astin; great nieces, Rhonda (Jack) Pitts, Jennifer (Chad) Dunn, Heather (Stephen) Whitten; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 4 o’clock at Ramah First Baptist Church with Bro. Geary Brogden officiating. Interment to follow at Ramah 1st Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Dot will lie in state Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 at Ramah First Baptist Church. Those wishing may sign the online guestbook at www. parrottfuneralhome.com.
