Dorothy E. “Ellie” Garrett, 78, of Ocklawaha, FL passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Cypress Care Center in Wildwood, FL. She was born December 10, 1939 in Bloomingdale, OH a daughter of the late Alonzo J. and Elsie M. Oiler Wilson. Ellie loved the Lord.

She was an avid reader and loved her cats. Preceding Ellie in death were her husband Wayne F. Garrett; three brothers Walter “Bud”, Wesley and Dean Wilson and sister Ruth Wilson Wise. Surviving are her daughter Lonna (Ottie) Casto of Richmond, OH; son Murrel W. “Moe” Garrett of Florida; sister Judi Brodzinski of Smithfield OH; twin sister Elizabeth “Liz” Matthews of Bloomingdale, OH; two grandchildren Brittany and David Garrett; great grandchild Isaiah Garrett; two brothers-in-law Ivan Garrett of Texas and Gary Garrett of Carrolton, OH; two sisters-in-law Leona Wilson of Bloomingdale, OH and Shelby Wilson of Cadiz, OH and many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville time and day to be determined. Burial at Fort Steuben.
