Dorothy L. Gross, 83, of Westminster passed away January 4, 2019 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born in Westminster on January 1, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Ralph A. and Catherine Bieker Close. Before her retirement, she was a caregiver for children and disabled individuals.

Dorothy was a lifelong member of St. John Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching horror movies, doing jigsaw puzzles and coloring. She is at peace now.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Please use Chapel entrance.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Westminster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157. www.
