Dorothy Helen Solt, formerly of Swedesboro NJ, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on November 9, 2018, in Titusville, FL. Dorothy was born in Hendersonville, NC, on February 13, 1926, to Ernest and Dorothy Pressley. She was a retired homemaker who enjoyed her grandchildren, her church, and travel.

Her latest trip was to Havana, Cuba in August. She was preceded in death by her husband William Solt, Sr.; son, Paul; and grandson, Chuckie. She is survived by her son Bill (Sharon), with whom she resided with in Florida, and daughter Dorothy (Ed Jeffers), from New Jersey.

Dorothy also leaves behind nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, at Groce Funeral Home in West Asheville, NC, followed immediately by a memorial service and internment at Green Hills Cemetery, where she will be laid to eternal rest next to her husband, William. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of St. Francis at www.
