Theresa A. Hayes, 57, of Candler, North Carolina passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 28th, 2018 at 12:45am at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. Born October 14th, 1961 in Fairfield, California, she was the daughter of Brenda S. Petty and Robert E. Thomas. She was an employee of Quality Plus in Candler, North Carolina and attended and was a proud supporter of Alcoholics Anonomous.

In addition to her step father, Jim Portee, she was proceeded in death by her step brother, James Portee, step sister, Gigi Portee as well as her brothers, Steven Thomas and Dee Brown. She is survived by her mother as well as her sisters, Deborah Young, and Sonya Jeffries as well as her brother Jeffrey Harris. She was a loving mother to her daughters, Brandy Lynn Anders, Hope Mamie Kratz and Brook Nicole Sanderlin and a beloved grandmother to her eight grandbabies, Ethan Calabria, George Odum, Sunni Odum, Walter Odum, Trentin Anders, Jason Kratz, Opal Sanderlin and Evelyn Kratz.

She will be forever loved and dearly missed.
