Sonya Lynn Holbert, 42, of Hendersonville passed away on October 26, 2018. She is survived by her father, Rocky Holbert (wife -Susanne) and her mother, Sandra Youngblood Holbert. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Shanna Holbert Dotson (husband -Jonathan); brother, Hunter Holbert; step-brothers, Brenton Weaver (wife-Ali), Kendall Weaver (wife-Rachel), and Colton Weaver (wife-Jillian); six nieces, two nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and her extended family over the last 21 years, Keith, Pamela, Andrew and Betty Edwards, Christian (husband-Arely Munoz), and Clara Blankenship.

Sonya lived her life to the fullest. Her special needs never stopped her. A celebration of life will be held on November 10th at Mud Creek Baptist Church with a visitation at 10:00 AM and memorial service at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hope Academy 405 Rutledge Drive Hendersonville, NC 28739. She has gone home to be with Jesus, where there is no sickness, no crippled bodies, just the wonders of heaven.
