Sue Ellen Hanna Janowiak, 64, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at the Laurels of Hendersonville. Sue was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on December 5, 1954 to the late Franklin James Hanna and Anne Belle Moses Hanna. She was married to her husband of 37 years, Brent W. Janowiak.

Sue worked for NC State University as the Henderson County 4-H program assistant and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hendersonville. She enjoyed reading, sewing, beading, needle work, music and traveling. She was a member of Via de Cristo and the Southern Lights Square & Round Dance Club.

Sue was a loving and caring wife and mother who was passionate for her Lord, all youth, and her many friends. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Brent W. Janowiak of Hendersonville; two sons, David Janowiak and wife Linda of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and Christopher Janowiak and wife Mary of Hendersonville; a daughter, Rebecca Adam and husband Joshua of Hendersonville; a brother, Mark Hanna and wife Kathy of Greer, South Carolina; a granddaughter, Makayla Janowiak of Ocean Springs; two nieces, Tracy Holmesley and husband Mark of Travelers Rest, South Carolina and Tonya Forrester and husband Chad of Seneca, South Carolina; two nephews, Jason Hanna and wife Tonya of Greer and Jonathan Hanna and wife Ann of Gaffney, South Carolina. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church in Hendersonville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Henderson County 4-H Program, 100 Jackson Park Road, Hendersonville, NC 28792-4470. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.
