Obituary for Dorthy Nell Clark Funeral services for Dorthy Nell Clark, age 86, of the Mt. Sylvan Community are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 11, 2019 in the Mt. Sylvan Baptist Church with Bro.

Bruce Rudd and Ben Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Sylvan Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas.

Dorthy died Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in a Tyler, Texas hospital. She was born on June 2, 1932 in the Mt. Sylvan Community to the late, Lounice Carl and Berta Jewel (Wilbanks) Boynton and was a lifelong resident of the Mt.

Sylvan and Lindale area. Dorthy graduated from Tyler Junior College and retired after 31 years with the Lindale Independent School District having worked as a secretary. She was a member of the Mt.

Sylvan Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Franklin Clark, Jr. on March 8, 2010. Dorthy is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Steve & Cindi Clark of Tyler, Texas and Stan & Lynda Clark of Mt. Sylvan, Texas; daughter & son-in-law, Janice & David Walker of Van, Texas; grandchildren, Tracie McConnell, Wendy Russell, Amanda Atwood, Ben Clark, Christopher Walker, Cody Clark, Hayley Clark and Shelby Clark; and 12 great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Russell, Christopher Walker, Cody Clark, Ben Clark, Britton Atwood, and Chad McConnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Connie Hicks, Kent Johnson, and Winford Stone. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
