Mr. Douglas Aris Caudill, age 82, of Brodhead, KY; passed away Friday, October 5th, 2018 at the Saint Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born on July 23rd, 1936 in Manchester, Kentucky a son of the late Aris and Zell Bowling Caudill. Douglas operated Caudill Milk Transport for 30 yrs.

Those left to celebrate his life are his children: Myron Caudill & Greg Parrott of St. Petersburg, FL; Steven Duane (Marsha) Caudill of Brodhead, KY; Gary Shawn Caudill & Mary Grant of Berea, KY; his daughter-in-law: Karen Marie Sloat.

His grandchildren: Douglas Dell Ponder of Hardville, KY; Jeremiah T. Caudill, Kaitlin D. Caudill Thacker, Olivia C. Caudill French and Taylor Rose Sloat. His Great Grandchildren: Weston Eli French and Myla Kate French; His sister: June (Bobby) Taylor of Brodhead, KY; a sister in-law: Brenda Harris Caudill. As well as a host of friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son, Randall Alan Caudill, a daughter, Sharon Caudill Ponder, a brother, Larry Caudill. Visitation for Douglas will be Monday, October 8th, 2018 from 12P.M. – 2 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral service for Douglas will be Monday, October 8th, 2018 at 2 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro.

Tracy Valentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
