Obituary for Douglas David Baker Douglas David Baker, a resident of Sulphur was born August 30, 1947 in Hominy, OK to Johnie & Pauline (Spradlin) Baker. He passed away Wednesday December 26, 2018 at Sulphur, OK at the age of 71 years 3 months and 26 days. Douglas grew up in Chickasha, and attended Chickasha Schools, until transferring to the Military Academy in Claremore, OK, where he graduated.

He graduated from college with a degree in biology. Douglas joined the US Army and served in both Korea and Viet Nam as a medic. He had lived in several veterans homes before coming to the Sulphur Veteran Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his: Sister & Brother-in-law: Mary Blacow & Ernest, of Corpus Christi, TX Nieces & Nephews. Services will be held Saturday December 29, 2018 at 1:00PM at Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel in Chickasha officiated by Family Members.
