Obituary for Doyle Linsley Doyle Linsley Obituary On the evening of December 21, 2018 family and friends were present when Doyle Worth Linsley went home to be with the Lord. Doyle Linsley was born September 16, 1923 in Wingate Texas to Grant and Jimmie Loy Linsley. He was the first of 3 brothers.

Doyle served the US Navy aboard the USS McCook, a part of the 7th Fleet in the Pacific theatre, November 1944 through April 1946.

He was employed by Shell Oil Drilling Department 1947 through 1953, Hobbs, NM, Schlumberger Well Surveying Company 1954 through 1959, Coleman TX and Oil Belt Supply Company 1959 through 1969, Coleman TX. After which he entered into a business partnership with Roberts and Petty Plumbing Company 1970 through 1975, Brownwood TX. In 1972, he married Bonnie Fudge Hunt 1972, and continued his family with children Joni, Karen, Sandy and Ronnie.

Mr. Linsley returned to Coleman and became the owner of Oil Belt Supply Company 1975 through 1984. He retired in Brownwood TX where he was a member of Austin Avenue Church of Christ. He served many years on the Missions Committee and offered countless hours of volunteer service to the church He was also a member of the Rotary Club.

Visitation will begin at 1:00PM followed by the service at 2:00PM. Interment with military honors will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.
