Obituary for Dr. Glenn “Blake” Williams Glenn “Blake” Williams, MD, MS, FACS, 44, of Memphis passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on July 5, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Union City, TN on June 24, 1974. Blake holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin, a Masters of Science from Barry University, and a Medical Doctorate from the University of Tennessee.

He is a board-certified Otolaryngologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Blake married Regan F. Williams (Hill), MD, MS, FACS, FAAP on April 17, 2004, and they went on to have three beautiful children, Glenn (9), Hudson (7), and Sophia (4). Near the end of life, he stated that he had accomplished all of his dreams.

He had served his patients well, married the love of his life, and had three amazing children. Blake is survived by his parents Beverly Rhodes and Glenn Williams (Gloria), both of Union City; his sister Rae Lyn Anderson (Jason) of Slidell, LA; his brother Tyler Williams of Nashville, TN; and his step-sisters Carrie Beth Albritton (Nathan) and Meleana Beverly. He is also survived by his dedicated aunts Terri Boros (Blake) and Janie Savery (Sam), of Memphis; his mother-in-law, Mary Kohler, of Memphis; his sister and brother-in-law, Tiffany and John Heard, and their children Rhodes, Lily, and Hill, of Memphis; and many other uncles, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday July 9, 2018 at 3pm, Father Val Handwerker will officiate. A reception to follow at their home.
