Obituary for Dr. Lawrence M. Feltz Dr. Lawrence Michael Feltz, PhD. , 67, of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, died unexpectedly from complications of internal bleeding on November 20, 2018. Larry was the son of the late John and Virginia (Smith) Feltz, of West Mifflin.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Susan McCartney. He was a wonderful step-father to Jason Edward Kohut (Erica Schmittdiel) and Megan Christopher (Cecil. ) Larry adored and was adored-by his grandchildren, Jackson George, Maxwell Graham, and Elizabeth Grace.

Larry will be missed by his brothers John (Peggy) Feltz, Michael (Lisa) Feltz, and sister, Caroline (Tom) Goldinger. Also by in-laws (the late) George (Carol) McCartney, Janet (Michael) Hilterman, and Eileen (Joseph) Cirelli. Grieving for their uncle are: Amy (James) Spezialetti, Michael (Becky) McCartney, Dennis (Sabrina) McCartney, (the late) Heather Hilterman, Molly Hilterman, Amy Feltz, Jimmy Feltz, Wesley Feltz, Erin Feltz, Pauline Goldinger and Adam Goldinger, and many great nieces and nephews.

Lawrence M. Feltz, PhD, loved family, philosophy, teaching, counseling, Star Trek, science fiction, and the Steelers. More than anything, he loved his life with his Kathleen, his family, and his grandchildren. Larry never hesitated to get on the floor and play with his nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

They were the only ones allowed time in his clubhouse (garage) where they were free to paint on the walls, listen to music, and spend time with Papap. Kathy and Larry made a home where sitting on the porch, watching movies (Hallmark movies were ‘tolerated’ by Larry for the love of his wife) and take-out dinner were favored pastimes. Visitation will be private for the family.

In memory of Larry, the family encourages donations to his most recent place of employment: “HAP Enterprises, Inc., a private non-profit organization that provides services for adults with disabilities and early childhood education to young children of all abilities”. Larry took a great deal of pleasure in his work with the residents at HAP Enterprises.
