Dwight S. Short January 12, 1950 – March 19, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Mr. Dwight S. Short, 69, of Foristell, MO, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his residence. He was born on January 12, 1950 in Charlottesville, VA to Vernon and Nelle (Southall) Short. Dwight grew up with his younger sister, Robin, and attended the local schools.

In his early 20’s, he moved to the state of California to raise a family. For over 30 years, he was parts manager and also sold automobile. Dwight loved everything baseball, especially the Angels and Cardinals, but also liked the Washington Red Skins football team.

For a few years, he coached a little league team, and this is where he met his soulmate, Tamara King. They were joined in holy matrimony in Nov. 1999 in Riverside, CA.

Dwight enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, and liked riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Surviving are his loving wife, Tamara Short of Foristell; his children: Adam Gamboni of Chaska, MN, Jacob Gamboni of Foristell and Tracey Short of Riverside, CA; two grandchildren: Lucy and Mason; sister, Robin (John) Jane and close friend and special cousin, Lee Boisseau; other relatives and friends.
