Freda L Lentz September 02, 1940 – May 22, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Freda L. Lentz, 78, of Winfield, MO, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 22 2019. She was born on Sept. 2, 1940 in Es, MO to Elbert and Wilma (Pulliam) Patterson.

Freda grew up with her younger sister, Carolyn and attended the local schools. After her formal schooling, she married her sweetheart, Hurlen Lentz and the couple later moved to St. Louis. They raised their five children: Randy, Mark, Kevin, Kim and Dena.

Throughout the years, Freda had worked at Roco in Maryland Hts and later for Henty Construction, retiring after many years of dedicated service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Freda was an avid reader and enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel.

Her family fondly remembers that Christmas was an extra special time at their home because of their mother. She was proud of her country and what it stood for and served as an election officer in Lincoln Cty. Freda loved and appreciated each of her family members.

She is survived by her loving children: Randy Lentz of Elsberry, Mark Lentz of Florida, Kevin Lentz of Warrenton, Kim Meyer of Troy and Dena (Ron) Smith of Silex; her sister, Carolyn Staggs of Bloomfield. Carolyn is further survived by her adoring nine grandchildren: Kelly (Neil), Amanda, Justin, Ashley, Morgan, Randy, Taylor, Trevor, Brandon and her seven great-grandchildren: Brianna, Trinity, Joshua, Shaelyn, Kyla, Kendyl, Ayden; other relatives and friends. Freda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and her daughter, Becky.

Visitation scheduled from 4-8p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2019 and also from 10a.m.-11a.m. on Sat, May 25, 2019 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379, Tel (636) 528-8244.
