E. David Wilson, age 73 of Germantown passed away on December 20, 2018 at the Dayton VA Medical Center surrounded by his family. David was born in Hamilton, OH to the late Ralph and Ethel (McPherson) Wilson on November 24, 1945. David graduated from Carlisle High School, class of 1963 and was a lifelong member of Union Chapel Church.

He enjoyed fishing, watching his grandchildren participate in their sporting events, meeting his buddies for coffee at KJ’s and spending time with friends and family. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Wilson. David is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rosemary (Hatfield) Wilson, his son Eric (Val) Wilson, daughters Angie Wilson and Bethany (Chad) Brant, grandchildren Ethan Wilson, Taylor Magill, Trent Wilson, Makenna Brant, Mason Brant, and Erin Middleton, great grandchildren Elrik Wilson and Nolan Middleton, and his brother Emmett Lee (Sandy) Wilson and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 12:00PM at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown, OH, interment immediately following at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday beginning at 10:00AM.
