E. G.’s Obituary E. G. Floyd, 94, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Huntington Heath and Rehabilitation Center, Huntington, WV. He was born September 19, 1924 in Glenville, WV son of the late John and Dorotha Frame Floyd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Waitman, Lester and Clark Floyd; two sisters Genevieve Gumm and Virginia Floyd.

He was retired owner of Floyd’s Body Shop in Huntington, WV after 44 years of service. He was a WWII Army Veteran and was of Protestant faith. He is survived by his wife Wilma Rhodes Floyd; one son Jim Floyd of Chesapeake, Ohio; two grandchildren Shawn Floyd and Chriscinda Withrow; five great grandchildren Ezekiel, Brylee, Kingston, Hoyt and Collier.

Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
