Eberhard (Abe) Bruno Schreiter passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 4, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born May 5, 1932 to Bruno Emil Schreiter and Dora Ella Schulz in Chemnitz, Saxony, Germany. After escaping Communist controlled East Germany, he immigrated to Alberta, Canada where he met his beloved wife, Patsy Ruth Spaulding and married on June 13, 1956.

He served in the US Army. He received many positions and awards through Boy Scouts of America, including the Silver Beaver Award. He is preceded in death by his wife Patsy and is survived by his children Randall (Robyn), Lorin (Terri), Jana (Patrick) Smith, Derek (Lori), and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, on May 4th at 12 PM.
