Edgar W. Ahrlett Jr. was born on Thursday, November 7, 1940, and passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019. He was born to Edgar W. Ahrlett Sr and Minda Mary Hetzel. He attended Channelview High School.

He proudly served in the National Guard. Edgar was always keeping busy, he enjoyed gardening, he was very handy around the house, and working out. He was a very hardworking, very happy, sweet, and the Best Daddy in the Whole wide world.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jerry Sue Ahrlett, his parents, and his brother, Robert Ahrlett. Edgar is survived by his son David Wayne Ahrlett and daughter, Anna Marie Ahrlett; grandchild, Lauren Victoria Ahrlett; brothers, Milton Ahrlett and wife Patricia, Albert Ahrlett and wife Jennifer, James Ahrlett and wife Jennifer and Felix Ahrlett; and his sisters Beatrice Ellis and Elizabeth Parker. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at San Jacinto Funeral Home from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM; with a Funeral Service to begin at 12:00 PM with interment to follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.
