Obituary for Edith B. Lamb Edith Bernice Lamb, 69, of Fanning Springs passed away May 1, 2018. Mrs. Lamb was born November 15, 1948 to the late L. U. and Mildred Smith. She was born and raised in Gulf Hammock, but had lived in the Fanning Springs area for the last 20 years.

Mrs. Lamb was a homemaker who raised her four boys, was a good wife, and loved to cook. In her spare time she loved to talk about family, friends, and good ole times. Mrs. Lamb is survived by her husband Benny Lamb, her sons Benjy Lamb (Denise), Kevin Lamb (Amanda), Benny Lee Lamb, and Shannon Lamb, her brothers Don Smith and Robert Smith, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Zeke Smith, Loy Smith, Jr. and Jimmy Smith. Special thanks from the family for her caregivers John and Cynthia Walker, who are not just friends, but family who have earned a spot not just in our hearts, but hers as well. The family will hold a memorial service in honor of Mrs. Lamb 1:00 PM Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the New Beginning Baptist Church outside of Trenton.
