Edith “Buttons” Allard, 65, of Sherman, passed away on April 19, 2018 at her residence. Edith was born on November 5, 1952 in Springfield the daughter of James Earl and Mattie Ruth Towne Farris Sr She married Eric Alfred Allard.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Kabbes; and brother, Jim Farris. Buttons is survived by her husband Eric Allard; three children, Vickie Allard, Eric Lynn (Cindy) Allard, and Nicholas (Megan) Allard; two grandchildren, Spencer (Brooke) White, and Jacob (Kristi) Allard; fifteen great-grandchildren; father, James (Glenda) Farris Sr.; brothers, Fred (Sheila) Farris, Bob (Linda) Farris, Rawley (Benny) Farris and Dennis (Tina) Kabbes; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Family and friends are welcomed to attend a Celebration of Life from 12-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Pawnee Christian Church.
