Edith “Charlie” Sherrill, 65, of Ewing, VA passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born in Middlesboro, KY on January 7, 1954, to the late Horace and Thelma Marsee Lovell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 23 years, Willard Sherrill, five sisters and two brothers.

Charlie was a wonderful mother to her two children, Samantha Sherrill and Mark Simpson, and she had a heart of gold. She is also survived by three sisters, Delores Moore, Jewell Durbin and Deema Pierce; five grandchildren, Silas Burfield, Amber, Corey, Alex and Corado Simpson; two special nieces, Linda Fields and Patsy Moore; and many other nieces and nephews. Private interment will be held in the R.S. Campbell Cemetery, Rose Hill, VA.
