Edith M. Coy, age 81, Garfield St., Geneva, died Tuesday afternoon at the Ashtabula Co. Medical Center. She was born April 1, 1937 in Geneva, the daughter of Henry E. & Florence L. (Libert) Coy and has resided in the Geneva area all of her life. Miss Coy worked as the housekeeper and nanny for the Kennedy family at the funeral home for many years.

Miss Coy enjoyed ceramics and her joy in life evolved with all of her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Her survivors include two sisters, Hazel Coy & Betty Bowser and a brother, Kenneth Coy all of Geneva and numerous nieces and nephews and extended nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, David & Perry Coy and Robert Libert, sisters, Annabelle & Jane Goff and Alta & Gertrude Coy.

Services will be Saturday at 1:00 P. M. at the Geneva Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 323 S. Broadway, Geneva with Alisa Nierzejewski, Certified Celebrant leading the service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 7/21/18 from 11:00 A. M. until time of service.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave. , Ashtabula, OH 44004, envelopes will be at the funeral home. Fleming & Billman Funeral Homes are honored to serve the Edith Coy family.
