Edna Allen Cochrane November 24, 1932 – February 18, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Edna Allen Cochrane 86, of Decatur passed away Monday February 18, 2019 at her home. She was born November 24, 1932 in Phil Campbell, Alabama to Maxwell and Bluebell Allen. She was oldest serving member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She was a retired telephone operator from South Central Bell after 33 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, James S. Cochrane Jr. (Charlotte); granddaughter, Lyndsea Cochrane Cherkasky (Ethan); two great grandchildren Svetlana and Maksim Cherkasky; also one brother, Emmitt Allen.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home followed by a 7:00pm chapel service. Private family graveside will be held at Burningtree Cemetery. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
