Edna Evelyn Laster, 76, passed away on September 17, 2018 at her home. Edna was born on December 28, 1941 in Gobler, MO, to Doss and Arzettie (Morgan) Lawson. Surviving are her daughter, Karen (Jeff) Herrold of Canyon Lake, TX; sons, Tim (Holly) Laster of Knox, IN, Randy Laster of Popular Buff, MO; sisters, Wanda Battles of Reeves, MO, Mildred West of Memphis, TN, Gladys Stone of Knox, IN, Linda King of Hamlet, IN; brothers, Dallas Lawson of New Carlisle, IN, Johnny Lawson of South Bend, IN; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bernie Lawson. Edna enjoyed gardening, shopping, her dog, and most importantly family. Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A gathering to celebrate Edna’s life will take place on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 1 – 3 PM (CT) at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be shared online at www.
