Obituary for Edna M Morris Edna M. “Zimmy” Morris, 92, of Evansville, passed away at North Park Nursing Home, Thursday, November 1, 2018. Edna was born December 23, 1925 in Evansville, to the late Frank and Myrtle (Kuester) Zimmerman. Edna graduated from Reitz High School.

She worked for Chaynee Plastics and Chase Virginia. She and her husband enjoyed going to Kentucky Lake where they built a cabin and enjoyed boating and fishing. Edna is survived by her sisters, Mayta Offerman and Mildred Daughtery; many nieces and nephews.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Benny Morris; brother, Everett, Gilbert, Marvin, and Richard Zimmerman; sisters, Alene Zimmerman, Norma Boyd, Helen Sandefur and Betty Kiegel. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Ave. , Evansville.

Funeral service will begin at 10:00 am at the funeral home Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Burial will be at Locust Hill Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 701 N Weinbach Ave #510 Evansville, IN 47711 or Heart to Heart Hospice, 2532 Waterbridge Way, Evansville, IN 47710.
