Obituary for Edna Stroud Laura Edna Stroud, 95, passed away on September 25, 2018. A native of Tigerville, daughter of the late Thomas Spurgeon and Addie Freeman Stroud, she was a retired employee of Faith Printing Company, a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, a former member of Tigerville Baptist Church and a member of First Baptist Church of Laurens. Surviving are two nephews, Greg Sullivan of Carrollton, VA and Mike Stroud of Greer and three nieces, Mary Elizabeth Sullivan Rich of Rixeyville, VA, Becky Stroud Spencer of Forest City, NC and Linda Peden Smith of Pelzer.

Mrs. Stroud was predeceased by one brother, Freeman Stroud and two sisters, Lucille Peden and Mary Sullivan. Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 at Tyger Baptist Church cemetery conducted by Rev. J. Anthony Spencer.
