Obituary of Edna Featheringill Edna (Bette) M. Featheringill, age 91, of Plymouth Meeting, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Lopez, PA. Edna was born in Philadelphia on August 18, 1927, a daughter of the late Francis X. Morgan and Mary H. (MacElwee) Morgan. She was the wife of the late Donald D. Featheringill.

Edna was a resident of Plymouth Meeting since 1957 and was a faithful member for over fifty years of the Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Congregational Church. She sang in the church choir, hosted bible studies and served the Lord showing her love to everyone she knew. Using her gifts of compassion and caregiving, she worked as a Companion for Griswold Special Care and as a hospice and “Meals on Wheels” volunteer.

She was an artist and a member of several local art leagues, and her favorite paintings were of God’s creation. Painting and writing poetry were her favorite pastimes, having published several poems. Survivors include her children, John Featheringill (Dee) of Berlin, NJ, Donna Burr (Geoff) of Beverly, MA, Sharon Featheringill of Lopez, PA, Sandra Trinkley (Christopher) of Audubon, PA, and Linda Simon (Barry) of Plymouth Meeting, PA.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Frances L. Nugent. She is also survived by her sister, Mildred Ford, 102 years old, of Sun City, AZ, her niece, Jane Freas, and 13 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. .

Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018, 10:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 E. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Congregational Church, 42 E Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
