Obituary of Inez Gale Inez R. Gale, age 91, a longtime Norristown resident, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She was born in Altoona, PA on September 24, 1927, a daughter of the late Francis A. and Marion (Coyne) Sayers. Inez was a devoted member of Haws Avenue United Methodist Church.

She had a career of over 50 years at Norristown Bell Credit Union and worked until the time of her passing. Inez also was a Notary for 50 years and enjoyed collecting stamps. She was an avid Phillies fan.

Inez was the wife of the late George W. Gale, who passed on the same date as Inez in 1971. Survivors include her three children, Brian ( & Laurie) Gale of Doylestown, Elizabeth G. ( & Keith) Harwick of Kempton, and Larry ( & Amy) Gale of Norristown; sister, Naomi Sayers of East Norriton; brother, William ( & Edith) Sayers of Harleysville; as well as 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, Inez was preceded in death by her brother, Francis Sayers and sister, Vivian Sayers.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
