Obituary of Joseph Waldner Joseph A. Waldner, age 78, of Trappe, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 11, 1940, a son of the late Jacob and Marie Elizabeth (Schneider) Waldner. Joe has been living in Trappe for two years, formerly of Blue Bell and Northeast Philadelphia.

He was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church of Blue Bell. Joe enjoyed gardening, fishing, and WW II history. He had a long career as a Produce Manager for A & P Markets and SuperFresh.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth L. (Lange) Waldner of Trappe; son, Robert ( & Helen) Waldner of Cherry Hill, NJ; daughter, Debra (the late Jack) MacIlvain of Audubon, PA; son, Joseph Waldner of Lindenwold, NJ; and son, Eric ( & Michelle) Waldner of Warminster, PA. Joe is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jack Jr., Amanda, Sean ( & Shelby), Brianne, Robert Jr., Victoria, Eric Jr., Andrew and Jacob; and his great granddaughter, Charlotte. His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:30 am at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 6024 Butler Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday morning from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, Joseph’s family would appreciate memorial contributions made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church at the above address.
