Eduardo Ludo Prieto , age 101, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 27, 2019. Eduardo was born on October 11, 1917 in Del Rio, Texas to parents Tirzo and Rosa Prieto. Eduardo was a life term member of the American Legion Honor Guard Post #595 and the Disabled Veterans of America.

He was an active citizen and enjoyed volunteering in various community organizations. The most recent organization he assisted was Cementerio Loma De La Cruz. Preceding in his death was his beloved wife of 76 years, Maria Prieto, and his sons, Eduardo Prieto Jr. and Armando Prieto.

Family members left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Anita (Gonzalo) Garcia; daughter in-laws, Eva Prieto, and Ana Belia Prieto; son, Carlos (Mary) Prieto; Eduardo is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Arnold Menchaca.
